Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches

Designed to meet the challenges of next-generation data centers, the Nexus 5000 features a high-performance, low-latency 10 Gb ethernet cut-through switching architecture. With either Ethernet, Fibre Channel, or FCoE. The Nexus 5000 provides LAN, SAN or Cluster traffic with a unified fabric 10 GbE unified connection. This unification gives unrivalled consolidation - reducing adaptor requirement by up to 50%, lessening cabling and removing redundant switch gear. Available in either 32 or 48 port configurations, with a front-to-back airflow architecture - they’re at home in almost any data center configuration.
