The Brocade ICX 6610 series switches are designed for data center deployments

Data centers mainly requiring 1 GbE connectivity at a small form factor. In addition, up to eight 10GbE SFP+ ports can be enabled via software license providing high-speed connectivity.

They deliver enterprise-class Ethernet functions with three different software packages (Base, Premium, Advance) allowing customers to choose the optimized feature set for their particular needs.

If requirements increase over time, up to eight Brocade ICX 6610 switches can be stacked together to form a single logical switch with up to 384 GbE and 64 10 GbE ports.

HyperEdge™ Architecture

Enables stacking with Brocade ICX 6610 and 6450 switches and propagates premium software features across the entire stack.

Up to eight 10 GbE ports

Up to eight SFP+ ports can be converted in two groups of four ports from 1GbE to 10 GbE with software key activation

Available with three different software licenses

With different software license customers only pay for what they really need.
It is possible to start with base switching functions and enable a full layer 3 feature set if needed later on.

Four 40GbE standard QSFP stacking ports

Instead of using proprietary stacking cables standard QSFP cables and modules can be used for stacking.
Advanced stacking features allow hitless stack failover and hot switch replacement
